KUALA LUMPUR, June 23 — Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah and National Security Council (MKN) director-general Mohd Rabin Basir briefed ambassadors earlier today, on the approach taken in managing and containing the spread of COVID-19 in Malaysia.
According to Dr Noor Hisham’s Facebook post tonight, the group of ambassadors included those from the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Singapore.
He said the countries could work together globally to flatten the curve and defeat this invisible enemy (COVID-19).
Dr Noor Hisham also shared a screenshot of the tweet of the US Embassy in Kuala Lumpur, which said, “As Malaysians (and the rest of the world, frankly) have come to expect, we received a terrific briefing by Health DG Noor Hisham.”
