Putrajaya August 16 : The health ministry reported 25 new Covid-19 infections in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases so far to 9,200.
Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah also announced that 28 recoveries were recorded, bringing the number of those discharged to 8,859 or 96.3% of the total number of infections.
There were still 216 active cases still receiving treatment as of noon today, with two in need of breathing respiratory assistance.
No new casualties were reported, with the death toll remaining at 125.
