PETALING JAYA, Aug 23: The health ministry has recorded 10 new Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours, comprising eight imported and two local transmissions, this brings the infection tally to 9,267.
Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said 10 recoveries were recorded, pushing the total number of patients discharged to 8,959.
No new clusters or deaths have been recorded, with the death toll remaining at 125, or 1.35% of the total number of positive cases.
