Beijing September 12 — The Chinese mainland registered six new COVID-19 cases on Friday, all from overseas, the country’s health authorities said on Saturday.
This is the 27th consecutive day without domestic transmissions on the Chinese mainland.
No deaths from the disease were reported on the mainland on Friday while nine patients were discharged from hospitals.
The total number of confirmed cases stands at 85,174 and the death toll at 4,634, with 299 asymptomatic patients under medical observation.
