PETALING JAYA， Sept 21: The health ministry reported 57 new Covid-19 infections today, 51 of them local transmissions.
The new infections brought the total number of Covid-19 infections to 10,276.
Sabah recorded the highest number of infections again with 49 cases, with 14 coming from the Pulau cluster and 12 from the Selamat clusters.
No new Covid-19-related deaths were reported, with the death toll remaining at 130, or 1.28% of total cases.
In a statement, health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said 40 people have been discharged, bringing the total number of recoveries to 9,395.
There are currently 751 active cases, with nine patients in the intensive care unit (ICU) and two requiring respiratory assistance.
