Beijing Oct 11 — The Chinese mainland on Saturday registered 21 new COVID-19 cases, all from overseas, the National Health Commission announced on Sunday.
No deaths related to the coronavirus were reported over the previous 24 hours, while nine patients were discharged from hospitals.
The COVID-19 tally on the Chinese mainland stands at 85,557 infections and 4,634 fatalities, while 381 asymptomatic patients remain under medical observation.
