PETALING JAYA，Oct 17: The health ministry has reported 869 Covid-19 cases and four deaths in the past 24 hours.
Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said there were 302 recoveries, bringing the total number of those discharged to 12,561.
In a tweet, Noor Hisham said the 869 new cases bring the total number of infections in the country to 19,627.
The death toll also rose to 180 with four fatalities reported in the past 24 hours.
