Oct 17 CGTN news — Confirmed COVID-19 cases surpassed 39 million globally, with over one million fatalities and more than 26.9 million recovered patients, according to the latest tally from Johns Hopkins University.
The Chinese mainland reported 13 new cases on Friday, all from overseas.
