PUTRAJAYA，Nov 4: The health ministry has reported 1,032 Covid-19 cases and eight deaths in the past 24 hours.
Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said there were 820 recoveries, bringing the total number of those discharged to 24,815.
In a press conference, Noor Hisham said the 1,032 cases bring the total number of infections in the country to 35,425.
There are currently 10,339 patients being treated. Eighty-two are being treated in intensive care, with 27 requiring respiratory assistance.
Meanwhile, the two deaths bring the toll to 271.
