PUTRAJAYA，Nov 23: The health ministry has reported a record high of 1,884 Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours.
Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said there were 883 recoveries, bringing the total number of those discharged to 42,480.
In a press conference, Noor Hisham said the 1,884 new cases bring the total number of cases in the country to 56,659.
There were 1,203 cases in Selangor alone, followed by 289 in Sabah and 196 in Kuala Lumpur.
