PETALING JAYA, 13 Dec — The health ministry has reported 1,229 Covid-19 cases and four deaths in the past 24 hours.
Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said there were 1,309 recoveries, bringing the total number of those discharged to 69,393.
In a statement, Noor Hisham said the 1,229 cases bring the total number of infections in the country to 83,475.
Meanwhile, the four deaths bring the toll to 415.
A total of 13,667 people are still being treated, with 115 of them in the intensive care unit and 65 requiring respiratory assistance.
