PETALING JAYA,Mar 4: Travellers to Sabah and Labuan must go for a swab test three days before they depart, but do not need to be quarantined when they arrive, senior minister for security Ismail Sabri Yaakob said.
Travellers entering Sarawak, meanwhile, will have to undergo swab tests three days before departure and also be quarantined for 14 days after arrival.
On the other hand, travellers from Sabah, Labuan or Sarawak who wish to enter the peninsula will not need to undergo swab tests or quarantine.
He said individuals must first receive police permission and only those testing negative with no symptoms are allowed to travel.
