Kuala Lumpur March 6 : The health ministry has reported 1,680 Covid-19 cases and seven deaths in the past 24 hours.
Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said there were 2,548 recoveries, bringing the total number of those discharged to 289,452.
In a statement, Noor Hisham said the total number of infections now stands at 311,777.
There are 21,159 active cases with 172 patients being treated in intensive care and 19 requiring respiratory assistance.
Meanwhile, the seven deaths bring the number of fatalities to 1,166.
