Kuala Lumpur April 2 — The health ministry has reported 1,294 Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of infections to 347,972.
In a tweet, health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said Selangor recorded the highest number of cases with 455. Other states that reported triple-digit infections are Sarawak (217), Penang (139) and Johor (103).
This was followed by Kuala Lumpur with 88 cases, Kelantan (66), Sabah (63), Pahang (57), Negeri Sembilan (31), Melaka (22), Kedah (21), Perak (14), Terengganu (8), Labuan (4), Putrajaya (5) and Perlis (1).
