KUALA LUMPUR, April 9 – OGAWA Malaysia has announced its research findings effort done in collaboration with Universiti Malaya (UM) which showedMaster Drive AI 2.0 massage chair significantly improves blood circulation and sleep quality.
The research titled ‘Investigating the Effect of OGAWA Master Drive AI Automated Massage on Blood Circulation and Sleep Quality’ showed a significant improvement in blood circulation; 81.32 per cent by using Master Drive AI 2.0 M6 Deep Tissue programme and 43.48 per cent through the Blood Circulation programme.
While 100 per cent of the participants recorded an increase in sleep quality and up to 88.73 per cent progressed in sleep efficiency through the Sweet Dream program.
Its Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer, Datuk Lim Mee Ling shared that the cumulative effects of sleep loss and sleep disorders are causing an increased risk of hypertension, diabetes, obesity, depression, heart attack and stroke.
“Through the joint research hub, we hope that the studies can provide deeper insight that will further improve our product development process and educate the general public in regards to the health benefits that OGAWA’s massage chair is able to provide,” she said at the press conference of the joint research hub, yesterday.
Meanwhile, Dean Faculty of Engineering od UniversitiMalaya, Prof Dr. Saad Mekhilef said, the university was keen to be a part of the research that not only may be useful for future studies but to aid in improving the overall wellness of the nation and potentially increase the life expectancies of Malaysians.
“We want to convey the major health benefits attached to having regular massages and how it should be considered vital for our overall health, be it to relieve sore muscles, reduce stress or even boost the immune system,” he said.
Built with up to 5,184 massage combinations, the massage chair features advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI)allow consumers to customise their own massage chair with a programmed list of recommended solutions that precisely target any problem area.
“We aim to improve the health service platform and continue to build a family health management system with massage chairs as the core and expansion of product line, said Lim.
