KUALA LUMPUR, May 22 — The following are the updates on COVID-19 figures on selected countries as at 10 am today.
The figures up to May 21 indicate the United States, India and Brazil remain the top three nations with highest number of positive cases and fatalities.
Meanwhile, Malaysia and its ASEAN neighbours continue recording lower number of cases and fatalities when compared with their population numbers, but remain on guard against emerging new variants.
All listed nations have also ramped up their national vaccination programmes with Malaysia receiving 828,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccines on Friday, shipped via the COVAX facility.
