KUALA LUMPUR, July 20 — Entries for the 2021 MSOSH Media Awards jointly organised by the Malaysian Society for Occupational Safety & Health (MSOSH) and the Malaysian Press Institute (MPI) are now open, with prizes worth RM15,000 offered to award winners.
According to a post on the MPI website, the closing date for entries is Sept 15. Participation is open to Malaysians who serve as journalists or media practitioners, both full time and part time.
Entries are open only for works in English and Bahasa Melayu related to occupational health and safety, published between Nov 1, 2020 and Sept 10 this year.
The three categories of competition include print and news portal, television broadcast and online video media and the newest category, radio and online radio broadcast media.
“For this year’s edition, participants are required to send in their entries digitally by including the URL link in the entry submission. Participants are encouraged to send in their work through cloud storage, including Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, WeTransferi,” the posting read.
The awards are meant to recognise reporting on occupational safety and health.
