IPOH, Aug 11 — Various online programmes have been lined up to enliven the Perak state-level National Month celebration this year.
The programmes include the Bicara Kemerdekaan programme and Info On Wheels Merdeka which aimed at increasing the people’s knowledge of the country’s independence history.
Perak Menteri Besar Datuk Saarani Mohamad said other programmes that would be held were Pertandingan Pidato Hari Kebangsaan; Keceriaan Bulan Kebangsaan; Kahoot-Kuiz Online; Bintang Patriotik Smule; Teka Silang Kata Online; Selebriti Merdeka PerakFM and Kuiz Kemerdekaan PerakFM.
“Information about these activities will be shared through the Facebook accounts of the Perak State Information Department and the Perak State Secretary’s Office.
“We have also forged collaboration with other agencies such as the Broadcasting Department through Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM), Malaysian National News Agency (BERNAMA), Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) and Digital Perak and Strategic Communication ( StratCom) to promote all the programmes,” he said.
He said this in his speech at the launch of the state-level National Month and Fly the Jalur Gemilang campaign at the Perak State Secretary building here today.
Saarani said since Aug 1, more than 10,000 Jalur Gemilang had been distributed throughout Perak including at the Drive-Through Vaccination Centre (PPV) at the Indera Mulia Stadium here.
