Kuala Lumpur, Aug 22 — The health ministry has reported 19,807 Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours.
In a tweet, health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said the total number of infections now stands at 1,555,093.
Selangor recorded the highest number of cases with 5,379.
This was followed by Sabah (2,638) and Kedah (1,948). While Putarjaya has 24 cases and Labuan recorded 4 cases today.
