Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi held an online meeting with his Icelandic counterpart Thordis Kolbrun Reykfjord Gylfadottir on Wednesday. Wang reviewed the progress of bilateral ties over the past 50 years. He said China is willing to work with Iceland to fight the pandemic and deepen cooperation in sectors including tourism and the digital economy. Gylfadottir thanked China for helping Iceland to fight the pandemic and promised more cooperation on tourism, sustainable development and climate change.
