KUALA TERENGGANU, May 30 — The Terengganu government is inviting the public, including those from nearby states, to come together and enliven the Aspirasi Keluarga Malaysia (AKM) Tour which will be held in Kuala Nerus from June 2 to 4.
Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar said the AKM tour features many exciting activities, such as the Jamin Kerja Keluarga Malaysia programme, Keluarga Malaysia Sales Programme and various entrepreneurs’ stalls.
“I invite all Keluarga Malaysia (Malaysian families), especially the people of Terengganu and nearby states to come and enliven the programme,” he said in his Facebook posting today.
Meanwhile, in an exclusive interview with TV Al-Hijrah on the Assalamualaikum programme which was uploaded on his Facebook page this morning, Ahmad Samsuri said the location of the Terengganu AKM Tour, namely the Terengganu State Sports Complex, was very suitable as it is nearby the airport and able to accommodate thousands of visitors.
“The people should take the opportunity to come because the state government machinery and agencies will be there. People can enquire and clear their doubts at the counters,” he said.
Ahmad Samsuri added that so far, preparations for the programme were running smoothly and the Education Ministry had been selected as the lead ministry for the tour.
