PETALING JAYA, July 25 — UDA Holdings Berhad (UDA) is poised for success through the ‘LIFE’ brand to advance property development, asset and facilities management and hospitality in efforts to contribute to the empowerment of Bumiputera entrepreneurs.
‘LIFE’ (Legacy, Integrated, Finesse and Enrich) was launched by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob tonight and will be the main pillar of the company in creating success for the next 50 years.
Its chairman Datuk Norliza Abdul Rahim said UDA will continue to be committed to modernising the country’s development landscape as well as providing a conducive and competitive commercial space to produce more ‘Keluarga Usahawan’ (entrepreneurs).
“This new branding is an initiative of UDA to step into the ‘from shy to shine’ phase. In addition, based on the goal of continuing the legacy, I, together with the Board of Directors, the management and UDA employees will ensure that UDA is better known and always close to people’s hearts.
“I believe that with the new branding, UDA will continue to play its role of creating an inclusive community in its business and development regions,” she said at UDA’s 50th-anniversary dinner, here, today.
Meanwhile, the Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Minister Tan Sri Noh Omar said he hoped UDA will continue to strengthen its role in producing more entrepreneurs and achieve success in all business segments it is involved in.
In conjunction with the anniversary, the company organised several contests including the contest to create the anniversary logo, a virtual race and UDA 50 Golden Offers.
The winner of the Golden Offers contest, Ahmad Shahrul Mohamed, 52, took home a Proton X50 car.
Ahmad Shahrul had bought a residential unit at 38 Bangsar Residensi, UDA’s latest real estate product in Kuala Lumpur.
