SEMPORNA, Nov 9 — Abd Aziz Mohd Ibno, the Barisan Nasional candidate for the Bugaya state by-election said his campaign machinery has met voters in five polling district centres (PDM) out of nine PDM in the state constituency.
Abd Aziz, who is campaigning with the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) candidate for the Semporna parliamentary seat Nixon Abdul Habi, said he was confident that his campaign machinery would be able to meet voters in the rest of the centres tomorrow.
“The first stage campaign in Bugaya state constituency is almost finished,” he told reporters after meeting residents of Kampung Mesra, Mukim Simunul here today.
The Semporna UMNO Division deputy chief said the people had raised local issues, especially water supply problems, damaged roads as well as poor phone and internet coverage.
“…this matter will be forwarded to Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin, who is the Deputy Chief Minister and Public Works Minister of Sabah,” he said.
He added that Bung Moktar who is also Sabah BN chairman is scheduled to launch the Semporna BN Manifesto on Nov 14.
