CANBERRA, Nov 18 — The Australian government on Thursday confirmed that it has lifted Novak Djokovic’s three-year ban on entry to the country.
Immigration Minister Andrew Giles said, “Mr Djokovic has subsequently been granted a temporary visa to enter Australia,” Serbian news agency (Tanjug) cited the AP reported.
Last January, the Serbian tennis star was banned from entering Australia for breaching visa regulations related to compulsory vaccination against COVID-19.
