KOTA BHARU, April 20 — Kelantan folk have been reminded not to mar Aidilfitri celebrations with inappropriate and sinful acts that were contrary to Islamic law.
Kelantan Menteri Besar Datuk Ahmad Yakob said the people were advised to make the most of Hari Raya by visiting family, relatives, neighbours and friends to ask for forgiveness in order to strengthen ties.
The people of the state were also reminded to always be careful while driving, especially during the festive period, and to make keeping the environment clean a shared responsibility.
“I would like to take this opportunity to wish a happy Hari Raya Aidilfitri to all Muslims, especially to the beloved people of Kelantan,” he said in his Aidilfitri message here today.
