KOTA BHARU, May 20 — The Ministry of Education will make an official announcement on the release date for the 2022 Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) results, says Minister Fadhlina Sidek.
She also urged all parties not to speculate on the matter.
“There is a lot of speculation, you all must ensure that there is no fake news about the SPM announcement.
“Until there is an announcement from me and Datuk KP (Director-General of Education Datuk Pkharuddin Ghazali), it is not correct,” she told reporters after the Madani Education Roadshow and Hari Raya celebration with the Education Minister here, today.
Fadhlina was asked to comment on a viral post that the SPM 2022 results would be announced on May 25.
On a separate matter, she said the ministry was still waiting for the investigation and report into an incident in March this year where a Standard Five student was allegedly slapped by the headmistress.
“Appropriate action will be taken after the investigation is completed. The Kelantan State Education Department is giving full cooperation to the police,” said Fadhlina.
