JOHOR BAHRU, June 9 — The state government has expressed its appreciation to the federal government for the concerns over several key issues affecting Johor recently.
Johor Menteri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi, in a Facebook post last night, said the issues included floods, roads, hospitals and congestion at Sultan Iskandar Building (BSI) customs, immigration and quarantine complex (CIQ) here as well as the Sultan Abu Bakar Complex (KSAB) in Iskandar Puteri.
He and the entire line-up of the executive council appreciated all assistance and allocation provided by the federal government under Malaysia Madani Budget 2023.
“The Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim agreed to receive the courtesy call of the Johor State executive council yesterday.
Onn Hafiz also hoped the cordial ties would be translated into helping Johor become a developed state by 2030.
Also present in the meeting at the Prime Minister’s office yesterday was the Prime Minister’s principal private secretary Datuk Dr Farizah Ahmad.
