“The modernisation of business methods among hawkers has also been improved, including the provision of premises, facilities that are more organised and clean, thus providing more comfort to visitors, in addition to increasing the income of entrepreneurs and stall operators.

“RTC Kelantan is the main wholesale and retail agricultural produce marketing centre in the state of Kelantan and we estimate that 1.5 million visitors are expected to visit it this year,” he said today.

Commenting further, Abdul Rashid said FAMA has also prepared business lots for a total of 805 entrepreneurs who operate daily.

“Currently, the existing components consist of an Administrative block, a Retail block, a Wholesale block and a multi-purpose block, in addition to having a food court, a Floriculture site, a Market and an Expo site.

“RTC Kelantan also provides premises for rental in the organisation of courses, events and functions which are equipped with facilities such as ample parking and conducive facilities like halls and surau,” he said.
