SEOUL, Sept 6 — Witnessing the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between Telekom Malaysia Bhd’s (TM) wholesale business arm TM Global and SK Telecom (SKT) will be among the highlights of Communications and Digital Minister Fahmi Fadzil’s working visit in South Korea today.
The MoU will focus on developing MultiAccess Edge Computing (MEC) which aims to intensify efforts to drive innovation in advancing Malaysia Digital initiative.
Following the signing ceremony, Fahmi will be visiting the SKT’s T Factory here, the company’s flagship experience and retail store.
It features a variety of innovative services from SKT as well as space for its interactive offerings, specifically for the younger generation.
Meanwhile, the minister is also scheduled to participate in an engagement session with Samsung Electronics at the company’s headquarters here in the morning session.
The visit is mooted to enhance the dynamic partnership between Malaysia’s mobile service operator Maxis Bhd and Samsung Malaysia Electronics Sdn Bhd, a key subsidiary of Samsung Electronics.
