SEOUL, Sept 8 — Communications and Digital Minister Fahmi Fadzil, who is on a five-day working visit to South Korea, attended a public gathering session with Malaysian students and the diaspora in the country tonight.
A total of 62 Malaysian students and diaspora as well as Malaysian Embassy staff in South Korea, led by Charge d’Affaires ad interim Nazarudin Ja’afar, attended the gathering with the minister.
Also present were 20 delegations from Malaysia, comprising various agencies under the Ministry of Communications and Digital.
Fahmi spent about three hours at the gathering-cum dinner session and also took the opportunity to explain current issues happening in Malaysia.
“I also let them ask questions so that I could listen to their views and proposals. Happy to get the opportunity to meet up with Malaysian children studying in South Korea,” he told Bernama.
During the working visit to South Korea, from Tuesday (Sept 5) until tomorrow, Fahmi attended the GSMA Mobile 360 APAC and Policy Leaders Forum 2023 and also visited several companies there.
