GAZA CITY, Nov 2 — A Palestinian official said Wednesday that 335 foreign passport holders left the Gaza Strip via Rafah crossing into Egypt.
“Some 335 foreign passport holders left the strip,” Wael Abu Mohsen, the media director of the Rafah border crossing, said in a statement.
Abu Mohsen earlier told Anadolu Agency that 110 foreign passport holders had crossed the terminal into Egypt.
He said that 76 injured Palestinians were transported by 17 ambulances from Gaza to Egypt via the terminal.
The Palestinian spokesman said 51 trucks loaded with humanitarian aid moved into Gaza through the Rafah crossing on Wednesday.
Anadolu Agecy reported that dozens of foreigners and Palestinians with dual citizenship have gathered at the Palestinian side of the Rafah crossing since early morning to leave the Gaza Strip, which has been under relentless Israeli airstrikes since Oct. 7.
At least 9,061 people in Gaza were killed in Israeli attacks. Besides the large number of casualties and displacement, basic supplies are running low for the 2.3 million people in Gaza due to the Israeli siege.
