Kuala Lumpur, Nov 17 — China Jiangsu Culture Trade Expo (Malaysia) kicks off today at Hall 1 & 2, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) till 19th November.
This Expo, for the first time held overseas, is hosted by the Department of Commerce of Jiangsu Province, supported by Chinese Embassy in Malaysia , Malaysian local government departments and business associations.
The Expo is aimed at fostering substantial economic and trade cooperation and delivering win-win outcomes through various means including exhibitions, promotional events, industrial cooperation and dialogue sessions.
More than 100 enterprises from Jiangsu, along with 2 traditional Chinese hospitals and 10 universities and colleges, promote overseas market expansion of distinctive cultural products such as Yunjin brocade, purple clay pottery, silk, digital cultural content involving software outsourcing, gaming, animation, and intellectual property; as well as cultural services related to traditional Chinese medicine, gastronomy, tourism, and international education. Promotional events , cultural roadshows, and business matchmaking will take place concurrently.
Malaysian businesses and the public from all walks of life are all invited to explore business opportunities and experience the charm of Jiangsu and China stories.
It’s believed that the Expo will open up new channels for Jiangsu’s international cultural trade, and mutually benefit businesses from both countries of Malaysia and China.
