CAIRO, December 16 (Bernama-Sputnik) – Kuwaiti Emir Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah has died at the age of 86, Kuwaiti Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Mohammad Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah said on Saturday, reported Sputnik.
In late November, the state-run Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported that the emir had been hospitalised due to health problems.
“We mourn for Emir Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, who died on Saturday,” the official told KUNA.
