KUALA LUMPUR, March 19 – The government of Argentina has declared its support for Malaysian investments within its borders, committing to protect the interests of both existing and future investment endeavours, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
In a Facebook post, Anwar said that this matter was discussed during the courtesy call on him by Argentine Foreign Minister Diana Mondina at his office in Putrajaya on Monday.
“We took this opportunity to discuss trade and investment, renewable energy, digital economy, agriculture, and halal industry besides extending the visa period,” Anwar said.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister also discussed the Palestine-Israel conflict and urged Argentina to support efforts to achieve a ceasefire and provide humanitarian assistance in Gaza.
