KUALA LUMPUR, May 19 – Malaysia’s number one men’s singles shuttler Lee Zii Jia has won the Thailand Open title after beating Hong Kong’s Angus Ng 21-11, 21-10 in the final at the Nimibutr Stadium in Bangkok.
The sixth-seeded world No. 10 easily take down Angus 21-11 in the first set before storming through the second set, seizing victory 21-10 in 34 minutes.
Zii Jia’ last won Thailand Open title in 2022. The last time he won an international title was at the Arctic Open in Finland Oct 15 last year, beating fellow Malaysian Ng Tze Yong 21-14, 21-15.
