MAKKAH, June 12 – Saudi Arabia’s General Directorate of Passports announced on Tuesday that 1,547,295 pilgrims have arrived for this year’s Hajj season.
The figure, up to June 10 (Monday), encompassed all pilgrims entering the Kingdom through air, land and sea ports, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) report.
A breakdown of the arrival data showed 1,483,312 pilgrims arrived via air travel, 59,273 pilgrims entered through land ports, and sea ports received a total of 4,710 pilgrims.
