JERUSALEM, June 24 – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) revealed on Sunday that 69 per cent of the school buildings serving as shelters for displaced persons in Gaza have been directly damaged or hit by Israeli airstrikes.

In a brief statement posted on X, UNRWA emphasised that there is no safe place in Gaza, Palestine News and Info Agency (WAFA) reported.

The agency condemned the blatant disregard for international humanitarian law and called for an immediate ceasefire.
