CYBERJAYA, July 14 – The Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS) is set to develop residential projects with a gross development value (GDV) of RM3 billion in the next eight to 10 years, consisting of 7,500 units of affordable, terrace and high-rise apartments in Cyberjaya.
Group chief executive officer Datuk Mahmud Abbas said half of the units would be affordable houses, especially targeting younger house buyers.
Speaking to reporters after launching Aludra Residensi, PKNS’s third project in Cyberjaya, he said PKNS is committed to ensuring that young house buyers at certain income levels will be able to purchase their first house, as well as offering affordable houses at lower prices compared to its competitors.
With a GDV of RM125 million, the Aludra Residensi comprises 218 townhouse units, developed on a 4.52-hectare site.
The units, each one equipped with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, range from 1,035 square feet (sq ft) and 1,055 sq ft, with prices starting from RM555,000.
PKNS’ total landbank currently stands at 607 hectares.
