KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 9 – The China Jiangsu Service Trade Expo 2024 with the theme of “Sharing Services, Sowing Successes” kicks off today at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) till Sunday.
The opening ceremony was officiated by Malaysia’s Deputy Minister of Investment, Trade and and Industry Liew Chin Tong.
More than 100 guests and well-known media from both Malaysia and China attended the opening ceremony including Commercial minister Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Malaysia Sun Shuqiang, Deputy Director of Jiangsu Provincial Department of Commerce Jiang Xin, Secretary-General of Jiangsu Cultural Industry Federation Chu Kun, President of the Associated Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Malaysia Senator Tan Sri Low Kian Chuan.
President of the Malaysia-China Chamber of Commerce Loo Kok Seong, President of the China Entrepreneurs Association in Malaysia (PUCM) Dato’ Keith Li , President of the Jiangsu Chamber of Commerce in Malaysia Sun Jianwei and Director of the Malaysia-China Business Council Dato’ Low Moi Ing.
The Jiangsu Service Trade Expo 2024 will be held for three days in Halls 1 and 2 of the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.
This exhibition is an upgrade of the 2023 Jiangsu Culture Trade Expo. It is hosted by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Commerce and supported by the Provincial Party Committee Propaganda Department, the Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and other provincial departments.
It has also received strong support from local Malaysian departments and business associations.
There are more than 100 service trade bases, exhibitors and colleges from Jiangsu participating showcasing among others, digital trade, characteristic cultural products, traditional Chinese medicine culture, food culture and international tourism, intellectual property services, international education services, and business services.
