MOSCOW, Sept 15 – US presidential candidate Donald Trump’s running mate JD Vance believes that it will be very difficult for them to win the November election if they do not secure victory in North Carolina, reported Sputnik.

“It’s very hard for us to win unless we’re able to get North Carolina,” Vance told reporters on Saturday, as quoted by The Hill.

At the same time, Vance said he felt “very good” about his and Trump’s chances of winning in North Carolina.

According to Vance, he and Trump can lose in the state only in the event of a poor turnout.

Donald Trump won the 2020 election in North Carolina. The last time a Democratic candidate won the state was in 2008, when Barack Obama defeated John McCain by just 20,000 votes.

The US presidential election will be held on November 5. Vice President Kamala Harris will represent the Democratic Party, while former President Donald Trump will represent the Republicans.
