NEW YORK, Sept 28 –  Thousands of activists, members of human rights organisation, and representatives from Palestinian, Arab, and Muslim communities have demonstrated outside the residence of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in New York City, Palestine News and Info Agency (WAFA) reported.

The protests came ahead of Netanyahu’s scheduled speech at the United Nations General Assembly today, highlighting ongoing concerns about the Israeli atrocities against the Palestinian people and the recent escalation of violence in Lebanon.

From the moment Netanyahu arrived in Manhattan for the UN meetings, large demonstrations erupted across several streets, amplifying calls for accountability regarding the atrocities perpetrated by Netanyahu and the Israeli military against the Palestinian people over the past year.
