TH to Wait For Authorities’ Advice on Affected Air Travel in the Middle East

KUALA LUMPUR, March 2 — Tabung Haji (TH) is monitoring and closely accessing the current developments of the Iranian conflict that has affected airspace in the Middle East.

TH Group managing director and chief executive officer Mustakim Mohamad said all flights to and from the region are suspended for the time being.

“TH is monitoring and assessing the current developments of the conflict closely and will make announcements at the suitable time,” he said in a statement

On TH’s responsibilty towards the country’s Muslim pilgrims, he said TH’s next actions would be based on advice received from partner airlines, the Saudi Arabian authorities and Wisma Putra.

“TH would like to stress that the safety and well-being of all the country’s pilgrims are our priority,” he added.
