31 Vessels Allowed to Pass Through Strait of Hormuz in Last 24 Hours – IRGC Navy

TEHRAN, May 22 – The Navy of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced that 31 vessels were permitted to pass through the Strait of Hormuz over the past 24 hours with the coordination of the IRGC Navy, the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) reported.

“In the past 24 hours, 31 vessels, including oil tankers, container ships and other commercial ships, transited through the Strait of Hormuz with the coordination and protection of the IRGC Navy,” the Public Relations Department of the IRGC Navy said in a statement released on Thursday.

It emphasised that despite the aggression of the United States (US) army and the unprecedented insecurity it has caused in the Persian Gulf and particularly the Strait of Hormuz, the IRGC Navy endeavoured to create a clear and safe passage for the transit of global trade.
