Symposium on Governance and Administration Between China and Malaysia Held in Kuala Lumpur

KUALA LUMPUR, July 10 — On the occasion of the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC), the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Malaysia hosted a high-level special symposium this morning at the InterContinental Hotel in Kuala Lumpur.

The symposium, themed “Promoting Exchanges on Governance and Promoting Common Development Between China and Malaysia,” brought together key diplomats, political leaders, policy analysts, and representatives from both nations to deliberate on shared strategic goals and governance philosophies.

Dato’ Lee Chung Ping, President of the Federation of Chinese Entrepreneurs of Malaysia (PUCM) and founder of the Malaysia-China Insight trilingual media outlet, was invited to attend the symposium.

In a post-event media interview, Dato’ Keith Li Chung Ping stated that the symposium provided a valuable platform for mutual learning and exchange of governance philosophies and development experiences between China and Malaysia.

While China and Malaysia have different national conditions, their development goals of improving people’s livelihoods and achieving economic prosperity are highly compatible.

“As a Malaysian businessman who has been rooted in Malaysia for 30 years, I will continue to leverage the PUCM and the Malaysia-China Insight platform to connect businesses and civil society communities in both countries, promoting in-depth cooperation in trade, digital economy, and culture, and using grassroots efforts to contribute to the long-term friendly development of both sides,” Dato’ Keith Li said.
