KUALA LUMPUR, May 27 – Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has confirmed that the Sultan of Brunei, Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, is currently at the National Heart Institute (IJN).
Anwar said His Majesty was reportedly feeling fatigued and had chosen to rest at the medical facility.
“His Majesty is feeling a bit tired, so he’s just resting at IJN,” Anwar said briefly during a press conference on the 46th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre on Tuesday.
Earlier, members of the media had inquired about the Sultan’s absence from the ASEAN-Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)-China Summit held Tuesday afternoon, amid reports that His Majesty was undergoing treatment at IJN.
