PUTRAJAYA, June 30 — The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has successfully identified a total of 127 Malaysian citizens who were victims of the dismantled Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator (POGO) forced labour syndicate, according to a statement by the Ministry.

They are among a group of 134 individuals believed to be Malaysian citizens.

“All the victims were rescued by the Philippine police during the raid operation on POGO on June 27,” the statement said.

The Ministry stated that based on consular visits conducted on the Malaysian victims, all of them are in good condition.

However, the statement mentioned that there are some logistical and welfare issues that are being addressed by the local authorities to ensure the well-being of all Malaysian victims.

Any latest information regarding this matter will be communicated periodically.
