PUTRAJAYA, Aug 17: The health ministry today announced 12 new Covid-19 cases, 10 of them local.
This brings the infection tally to 9,212, with 211 cases still receiving treatment as of noon today.
Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said 17 recoveries were recorded, pushing the total number of patients discharged to 8,876.
There were no new Covid-19 related deaths, with the toll remaining at 125.
