SHANGHAI, March 18 – Haier Group Corporation, a Chinese multinational home appliances and consumer electronics company has showcased thousands of its ecosystem and product lineup at the recent Appliance and Electronics World Expo 2024 (AWE 2024) held in Shanghai.
At the expo held from March 14-17, 2024, Haier released the world’s first artificial intelligence (AI) health preservation technology system refrigerator, the intelligent preservation cabin.
At AWE 2024, Haier also showcased its new X11 washing machine, which features high-efficiency washing and low wear, 3D perspective drying technology, accurate drying, double engine heat pump technology, and repair coating waterproof performance.
According to the company, the Haier X11 series washing machine has signed a strategic contract with the Antarctic Scientific Research Station to wash and protect the polar cold clothes, save energy and water, and help environmental protection.
Haier brings together its premium brands, namely Casarte, Leader, Fisher & Paykel and Three-winged Birds, at AWE 2024.
AWE 2024 is a top three global home appliance and consumer electronics show hosted by the China Household Electrical Appliances Association which brought together more than a thousand leading global home appliance and consumer electronics companies to showcase tens of thousands of tech-powered innovative products and technical solutions.
Themed “Smartize the Future”, AWE 2024 highlights technology, innovation, intelligence, health and low carbon to fully showcase the latest innovations that deeply integrate home appliances and consumer electronics with cutting-edge technologies such as AI.
In China, Haier Smart Home has addressed common issues such as fresh meat stored in regular refrigerators becoming dry and hard, affecting its taste.
The company introduced the “Magnetic Control Freshness Technology,” which revolutionised the traditional method of preserving food based on temperature and humidity.
With this technology, fresh meat can remain as fresh as new for up to 10 days.
Additionally, it said users in China often encounter problems with layered clothing, such as down jackets not drying thoroughly or evenly. Thus, Haier Smart Home pioneered the 3D perspective drying technology.
