BEIJING, Oct. 6 – Chinese President Xi Jinping and Kim Jong Un of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), on Sunday exchanged congratulatory messages over the 75th anniversary of the China-DPRK diplomatic ties.
In his message, Xi stressed that China is willing to work with the DPRK to take the 75th anniversary as an opportunity to strengthen strategic communication and coordination, deepen friendly exchanges and cooperation, and continue to write new chapters for China-DPRK traditional friendship.
Xi stressed that he highly values the development of China-DPRK relations, noting that in recent years, he has met with Kim multiple times and maintained close communication through letters and messages, jointly guiding and promoting the development of China-DPRK relations.
