KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 17 – The Malaysian National News Agency (Bernama) has been appointed as the official media and coordinator of the International Media Centre for the 2025 ASEAN Summit, announced Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil.
Through a post on Facebook, Fahmi said Radio Television Malaysia (RTM) was appointed as the official broadcaster.
“As ASEAN Chairman, Malaysia will definitely be the focus of the region in particular and the world in general.
“God willing, the chairmanship this time will also open various great economic opportunities for the people,” he said.
Laos recently handed over the ASEAN Chairmanship to Malaysia at the Closing Ceremony of the 44th and 45th ASEAN Summits in Vientiane.
